For me, it represents something deeper:
No matter who you are or what you do — it means moving forward toward the dreams, experiences, and life that never stopped calling you back.
From childhood memories at a small Texas airport (KEYQ) to returning to the cockpit years later in a modern Sling TSi, now creating memories with my own children, Cleared As Filed exists to share a real journey back into aviation and back to a dream that never left.
This is not just about airplanes.
It’s about reclaiming a dream and sharing it with the people who matter most.

Cleared As Filed was created to document the journey back into aviation and help people believe the dream of flight is still within reach.
This platform exists for aspiring pilots, returning aviators, late starters, and lifelong dreamers who still look skyward and wonder:
“What if I finally went for it?”
